Finding a way or making one in every situation no matter what the circumstances is a power available inside us all. Every human has four endowments of self awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These are a powerful combination especially when we take time out to sharpen the saw, have fun, rest, reflect, exercise, educate, and mediate, all of which sharpen up the most powerful tool we have, our own minds.
To sharpen the saw is not a case of just switching off, that never works for long as when we switch back on nothing else stopped and now we have even more to content with.
Sharpening the saw is all about getting laser focused on what really matters to us individually, and then knowing NOT to prioritise what's on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.
The consequences of being too busy to help ourselves are high, and so my attention every day is given to servicing the most important contracts I hold with myself, contracts with my spirituality, my mindset, my physical development, and emotional wellbeing.
