Be grateful for the challenge.

Like many thousands of other people on Sunday 21st of April 2024 I am running the London Marathon, for me personally I am running with the Royal Society for Blind Children because I believe in positive transformation of myself and then supporting others to create life equity and opportunities for all.

I will run the 42.2 km (26.1 miles) in support of RSBC (Royal Society for Blind Children) and in doing so be grateful for the opportunity to take on a challenge for personal growth, supporting positive transformation of self, and the ability to support others.

On this journey I am humbly seeking small supportive donations of £1 to £5 which can be made here https://lnkd.in/eGzeMHnj all combining to help reach the target of £5000 by 21st April 2024.

As I move toward this challenge I know that feelings never matter in the business of getting it done. All that matters is my decision that it matters and knowing I do not, and will not ever negotiate with the weaknesses of my own mind.

My commitment to "Having a great day" every day isn't about being instantly happy with no effort, it is about being grateful for life every day no matter what our circumstances, and then finding ways to positively transform ourselves a little bit every day, so we can be better than we were yesterday and better able to support of others.

Be grateful today, we all have something to be grateful for. If you can breathe, see and move, be grateful, not everyone can.

Today I am grateful to Kevin McNulty FRAS and Shalni Sood (nee Tayal) FCA FRSA for the opportunity to run in support of creating life equity and opportunities for all.

Bring it on!
